The University of Michigan women's basketball team continues its two-game season-opening road swing with a 7 p.m. contest against Akron on Monday (Nov. 17) at James A. Rhodes Arena in Akron, Ohio. Fans can follow the action on WTKA AM 1050 with Matt Park calling the action and can get live stats and live audio through the worldwide web at MGoBlue.com.


Monday's game marks the second consecutive road game for the Wolverines. The last time Michigan played two non-neutral road games to open a season was the 1999-2000 season when the Wolverines opened with a 69-65 win at Colorado State and then defeated Colorado, 77-63, en route to opening the season 7-0.
