Top 25 Honored


"The Breakdown Basketball Publication invited 50 players from all across the state to be included on this year's cover of The Breakdown. 25 girls and 25 boys represented Minnesota from all different graduating classes. In addition to the photo shoot, the players were guests of the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx, being honored on the court during the Minnesota Lynx/Washington Liberty WNBA game. August 22-23, 2008 in Minneapolis Minnesota

These Rising Blue Star Camps are designed to bring in the top 7th, 8th & incoming 9th graders in various regions to help get them ‘on the map’. The event will allow players from various regions to come together to compete and be evaluated. There will be a lecture for parents & players regarding the upcoming recruiting process. Discussion of the ‘good, the bad, & the ugly’ of this side of the game as well as explaining some of the NCAA rules so YOU can control the process.

At least one Blue Star representative will be there evaluating for the future national rankings. (Blue Star does not start ranking players until their sophomore year) All players & their evaluations are placed in the college Rising Blue Star Report.
