Led by a first-half shooting percentage of nearly 73 percent, South Dakota State spoiled the season opener for the Wisconsin women's basketball team on Monday night. The Jackrabbits (2-0) jumped on the Badgers, winning 64-44 in front of 2,812 fans in Frost Arena. "That's a really good team," said UW coach Lisa Stone of SDSU. "It's a team we're going to face in a similar talent level within our league. " The Badgers (0-1) were led by sophomore Alyssa Karel with 11 points and five rebounds.
