After a back and forth 1st half, Winona State finally pulled ahead of Valley City State by 17 points with about 12 minutes to go in the game winning it in the end by a score of 75-59.
The Warriors Ana Wurtz (NSIC player of the week) explodes in the second half with 30 points finishing with 33 for the game and Molly Anderson got a double double with 10 points - 11 rebounds.
For the Vikings Abby Rittenhouse had 13 points, Amanda Brown 12, and Caitlyn Wojahn had 10 to lead the balanced scoring attack.
