The Minnesota Lynx landed the fourth-overall pick in the eighth annual WNBA Draft Lottery today in New York. Originally slated to draft in the fourth position, the Lynx entered today's Draft Lottery with a 38.8 percent chance of landing the fourth overall choice and a 7.6 percent chance of winning the top overall pick. "We are very excited about this year's draft," said Executive Vice President Roger Griffith. "The 2008 draft proved to be one of the best in our history as we were able to add Candice Wiggins, Nicky Anosike and Charde Houston, all foundations that we can build our team around.
