The Lakers defeated the #6 Ranked and #3 seed Armstrong Falcons 38-36 to advance to Semifinals of State Sections. Junior Forward—Laura Maltby drove the lane with 5 seconds left to make a dynamic lay-up in traffic to put the Lakers up for good. The Lakers were led by Senior Center Britta Syverson with 14pts, 8 rebs and 4 blocks. Sophomore Guard Vinishia Jackson chipped in 7pts and 2 assists.
