Classic Minneapolis Conference Match Up!!!

Minneapolis North 49   Minneapolis Southwest 42   Southwest was up 24-23 at Half, but it wasn't enough as the Polars finished the game with an 8-0 run led by Rhode Island --Bound Forward Brianna Edwards.  The Lakers were able to contain Edwards to 3 in the first half, but she finished with14 points (9 under her average).  Southwest was led by Center Britta Syverson with 15 pts and 6 rebounds.   A key note--The Lakers were without Freshman leading scorer Mariah Adanene who averages 15 points a game due to an injury.
